I found a couple of places that are working on these things now so people can see how things are working in other locations. Any thoughts and ideas?

Interesting stuff.  It would be pretty cool to get something like this started locally.  As I understand it, there's a small group doing something like this on a small scale out near Mountain Home.

Check out the new co-housing topic in this Forum.  There seems to be considerable interest in the Boise area.

Sounds a lot like a commune.  East Wind is one I visited.  It was a C00L place.  Lots of hippies like me.  Their by-laws were very strict, you had to relinquish your kids to the proper instructors.
