Hello everyone!

Have you heard about the 10/10/10 Global Work Party?  It's a campaign put on by 350.org that has encouraged over 5,450 separate community events, (in 176 countries around the world), to take place on 10/10/10 to celebrate climate solutions and send a clear message to our politicians: "We're getting to work--what about you?"  (see the website for more details about this campaign: www.350.org

So what is BOISE doing for this exceptional day?!  Well, we're planning a massive bike ride in the streets of downtown Boise (CRITICAL MASS!!!) to express our vision for a sustainable climate future by celebrating alternative forms of transportation and many other climate solutions!  COME RIDE WITH US!  And bring YOUR climate solution (costume, signs, decorations, props--be creative!).  We'll even top it off with an afterparty at Boise's very own Bittercreek Alehouse!

What: Boise Critical Mass Bike Ride

Day: Sunday, 10/10/10

Start: Noon at Camel's Back Park
End: the Grove
Afterparty: Bittercreek Alehouse

Please pass this message on to your family, friends, and colleagues!
We need EVERY Boisean on their bike...Come ride for CHANGE with your community!

Hope to see you and everyone you know there!

http://www.350.org/oct10

It is a Global Day to bring attention to global climate change. I believe there will be a big critical mass bike ride with educational information regarding climate change as well as an after party at the Bittercreek Ale House.
