I attended last month's seminar. It was very good! I really like the focus on existing houses. I recommend it to homeowners who would like to save money and lower their carbon footprint. Also, the homemade cookies will leave you with a nice taste in your mouth! See below:

Regular home maintenance is just a part of what it means to be a homeowner. But what if you could do your part to save the world, reduce global warming and save money while maintaining your home in tip top condition? You can and you can learn how Thursday Nov. 11th as we continue the interactive seminar series, Sustainable Energy, Sustainable Homes . This month's seminar will cover all the ins and outs of how to Get Tight: Insulation, Windows and Air Sealing for Your Home.

Last month's workshop taught you how to rate your own home's "miles per gallon" energy performance. This month we'll get down to the nitty gritty of improving that score, featuring the most cost-effective ways to make your home less energy dependent (cheaper to operate and more comfortable to live in) by making it tighter and better insulated.

Sustainable Energy, Sustainable Homes seminar series is a partnership of Green Remodeling (Josh Bogle) and Renewable Energy Solutions (Stephan Howe).  We'll bring you the latest in building science, providing actual Boise case studies, and apply it to the issues of your unique home. All seminars are interactive, so bring your questions and ideas.

Many thanks to our sponsors:
- Energy Seal (energyseal.net) a premier local insulation company
- Johnson Brothers (www.jbros.com) local providers of Marvin, Integrity, & Kolbe & Kolbe windows
