Easy and fun to make. Buy dough from a local pizza store or make your own. Pick your toppings and use this simple recipe for making fresh pesto sauce.

Ingredients:

1 cup fresh basil leaves
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 cup pine nuts
1/2 cup olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
4 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Place the basil, garlic, and pine nuts in a food processor or blender and process until finely chopped.

Gradually add the olive oil and then the Parmesan, blend to a coarse purée. Season to taste. Spoon into a lidded jar, then pour in the extra olive oil to cover. Use at once or store in the fridge.

Wow.  That just looks good.  I think you could give Flatbread a run for their money!

It was pretty good, pesto is awesome.  Just need a wood fired pizza oven to cook it in!  Smiley
