Has anybody out there ever made their own rootbeer?  I am looking for a recipe to make some.

First batch didn't turn out too well  Undecided  It carbonated just fine but it tasted too much like brewer's yeast...

I'll get it right eventually.

Too bad.  I'm sure you'll get it next time, though.  It'll be pretty cool to have locally brewed root beer!

Go Josh go! Dave can't wait to start selling your brew. He said that must be the reason you are building the trailer, to deliver the brew.

Not after my first failure!  I think you have to be pretty dedicated when it comes to brewing rootbeer.  I was hoping to get lucky and have it turn out perfect but it ended up being really yeasty and disgusting!

I have some rootbeer flavoring if anybody would like to try it out.  You'll need some brewers yeast or dry ice and some sugar.

I'd love to try it.  If you're not using it, can I get the flavoring from you?  What other materials do you need?  Can you use big glass jars?  Guess I need to do some research!  Grin
