I saw this workshop: http://www.relocalize.net/sunbow_farm_workshop_turn_your_lawn_into_a_real_food_source and was curious if we have anything similar here?

Not that I'm aware of... but I may grow food in my front yard this year!

If you want to pay a little money to have someone do a specific plan for your yard and all of its unique qualities, try contacting Casey O'Leary of Earthly Delights Farm. She has done plot specific plans for folks around here.
