I had a guy tell me yesterday that ABCeeds at http://www.abceeds.com/ is a great source for heirloom seeds. Anybody have any other sources they recommend?

That looks like a great company.  We may have to send some business their way this spring.

I can't remember the name of the company we've bought from in the past.  I'll check this evening when I get home and get back to you.

Dunno if this is the right place to post this, but if anyone is curious as to why heirloom seeds are important they should watch

(link takes you to YouTube...video is in 8 parts) to get a glimpse of the scope of the issue.

I also use Seed Savers Exchange.  I have had great results with germination.  I would also like to tell you about my experience with Seeds of Change.  I tried them one year, I ordered about 20 packets of seeds and they were sent to me in 3 different shipments.  Seems they did not have them all at the same time?Huh?  When I received the last package of seeds, which included some pepper seeds, it was about 3 weeks past last frost.  The seeds also had a low germination rate.  Maybe I was just unlucky, but I can say Seed Savers Exchange sent me the seeds within a week of ordering them, long before last frost.
