BSLC Meeting

Hello Boise-area Sustainable Living Advocates  .

It's been awhile since we've had a meeting and a number of our members have been asking when we'll start our regular meetings again.  Now that Spring is right around the corner it seems like a good time to get together and catch up with our BSLC friends.

So, this Sunday, January 17th, we'll have our first meeting of 2010 at our usual place...the Boise State University Student Union Building.  We'll be meeting at 3 p.m. in the new glassed-in area right outside the cafeteria.  Once everyone has arrived, we'll find either a room or quiet corner.

Everyone is invited so bring friends and family, as well as ideas for conversation starters and activities for BSLC for the new year.

Thanks to Jonathon, Kevin, Victoria, John, Jonna, Ann, Toren and Kevin for coming to our meeting!

We discussed what has been going on in everyones' lives since we last met (some time ago) and plans for future BSLC activities.  Here are some of the plans we've come up with:

• A seed swap/show-and-tell (Feb.?)
• Tour of the strawbale house on Boise Ave. (Feb/Mar?)
• Work party at the Sarsen house to fill their raised beds with dirt (Mar)
• Work party at John's Small Footprint House Project site (TBD)

If anyone has other ideas, please don't hesitate to let us know.  We will post more information as these plans are solidified.
